PROJECT OVERVIEW

Beaconsfield Family Home

Located in Beaconsfield, this 800 sqm property is the largest full renovation we have undertaken to date. Set within a stunning, large-scale garden, the home’s spectacular views became the central focus of our design, with every room planned to maximise its connection to the outdoors.

This ongoing project involved a complete re-layout of the property, including moving and removing walls, adding balconies, and introducing large glazing that frames the garden and floods the interiors with natural light. The interior design draws inspiration from the Japanese Wabi-Sabi philosophy—a style rarely explored in the UK—celebrating natural materials, unique finishes, and an understated elegance. Natural woods, bespoke silks, seagrass wallpapers, and an array of custom-made joinery, including over 40 pieces, define the interiors. Stunning bespoke lighting, some in unusual and sculptural shapes, adds drama and character to each space.

As a family home for three children, each bedroom has been designed individually to reflect their personalities, while every detail of the property, down to toothbrush holders, has been carefully considered to align with the family’s lifestyle and personal style. The client has worked closely with us throughout, ensuring their vision and habits are fully realised.

Even at this stage, the results are breathtaking. The project’s ongoing transformation can be followed on our Instagram, capturing the evolution of a truly unique and highly personalised family home.
